Welcome to CloudMat
By using our website (cloudmat.ca) or purchasing our cushioned rugs, you agree to these terms. We've tried to keep them readable—no one likes walls of legal text.
Our Products
CloudMat comes in two versions:
- Premium Bounded — Our flagship rug with premium edge binding for a polished look. Spot clean only.
- Washable — Features a foam core with a removable cover that can be tossed in the washing machine.
Both versions feature:
- 3cm cushioned foam core — real padding you can feel
- OEKO-TEX certified — tested safe for babies and direct skin contact
- Non-slip backing — stays in place on any floor
- Durable construction — built to handle kids, pets, and daily life

Shipping Policy
We ship all orders from our warehouse in Markham, Ontario. Here's what to expect:
- Free shipping on all orders across Canada
- $75 flat rate for Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut (we don't profit from this—it covers carrier costs)
- In-stock items: Ship within 1-2 business days
- Made-to-order items: Ship within 3-5 weeks
- Delivery time: 3-7 business days after shipping
Ontario and Quebec customers typically receive in-stock orders in 3-4 business days. Remote areas may take longer.
We ship everywhere in Canada. Territories (Yukon, NWT, Nunavut) have a $75 flat shipping fee due to carrier costs.
US shipping coming soon. Sign up for our email list in the footer to be notified.
Return Policy
We want you to love your CloudMat. If you don't, here's our return policy:
- 30-day window from delivery date
- Unused condition — rug must be in original packaging
- Full refund to original payment method
- Return shipping — customer pays return shipping unless defective
To start a return, email hello@cloudmat.ca with your order number and reason for return. We'll respond within 24 hours.
What About Used Rugs?
If you've unrolled and used your rug, we can't accept returns for hygiene reasons. However, if there's a defect, we'll absolutely make it right—see our warranty below.
Warranty
All CloudMat rugs come with a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects. This covers:
- Stitching coming undone
- Foam core separation or collapse
- Non-slip backing peeling off
- Colour bleeding (not caused by improper washing)
Not covered: Normal wear and tear, damage from pets, stains, or not following care instructions.
To make a warranty claim, email hello@cloudmat.ca with photos of the issue and your order number.
Care Instructions
To keep your CloudMat looking great:
- Washable version: Remove the cover and machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat. For larger sizes, use a commercial washer at a laundromat.
- Premium Bounded version: Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not machine wash.
- Both versions: Vacuum regularly. Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent fading.
Pricing & Payment
All prices on cloudmat.ca are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes for Canadian customers.
We accept:
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- PayPal
- Shop Pay
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. We never see or store your credit card details.
Discount Codes
We occasionally offer discount codes. Terms:
- One code per order
- Codes can't be combined with other offers
- We reserve the right to end promotions at any time
- Codes may have minimum purchase requirements

Product Images
We photograph our rugs in natural lighting to show accurate colours. However, monitor settings vary, so your rug may look slightly different in person. If you're unsure about a colour, contact us and we'll help.
Intellectual Property
All content on cloudmat.ca—including product photos, descriptions, and the CloudMat logo—is our property or used with permission. Please don't copy, reproduce, or distribute without written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, CloudMat's liability for any claim related to our products or services is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario. We're based in Markham, Ontario—come say hi (by appointment only—it's a warehouse).
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. We'll post updates here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of cloudmat.ca after changes means you accept the new terms.
